Resorcinolic adhesives are made by combining resorcinol and formaldehyde or phenol formaldehyde to produce a resin.

OBS

Some sources may sometimes associate these terms with resorcinol-formaldehyde adhesives but this is rather confusing because this might also apply to phenolformaldehyde resin adhesives.
