HELITUNE Limited has developed the Rotortuner 2000 (RT 2000) a fourth generation portable/onboard Rotor Track, Balance (RTB) and Vibration Analysis (VA) system. The RT 2000 is used to test helicopter dynamic track and balance characteristics, provide comprehensive rotor track and balance solutions, and balance propellers, shafts, engine fans, rotating machinery. Zero to 30KHz vibration analysis also provides component and vibration order limit checking along with trending.

[Cet instrument] utilise un appareil radar de faible puissance et de portée limitée, placé sur le fuselage, qui mesure la performance de l'amortisseur de pale et la position des pales. Les variations d'altitude et de déplacement angulaire sont affichées à l'écran à chaque vitesse de vol choisie. Les données obtenues analysent au cours du vol tous les ajustements à faire aux poids situés à l'extrémité des pales, aux boulons des pales, aux points d'équilibre et au mouvement circulaire des pales.
