A nonprofit corporation, under the provisions of the Securities Investors Protection Act of 1970, that will provide protection to customers of insured members in the event of the member's insolvency. The upper limit of protection is $500,000 per customer account. Of this amount, no more than $100,000 may represent cash left with the member.
