Fisheries and Oceans Canada [DFO]. "Shorekeepers is a stewardship-based initiative developed by habitat scientists and biologists working for DFO. Volunteers, comprising mostly of secondary school students and adult members of community groups, commit two to three days each year for up to three years to re-survey the same stretch of the coastline".
