The Employment Equity Positive Measures Program (EEPMP) is a Treasury Board employment equity program that provides additional support including tools, services and funding to assist departments and agencies meet their employment equity goals and objectives. The EEPMP is the successor program to the Special Measures Initiatives Program (SMIP). It is a four-year program which was approved by the Treasury Board Ministers on October 8, 1998 and will end on March 31, 2002. The four components of the program are the EE Intervention Fund, the EE Partnership Fund, the EE Career Counselling Office and the EE Enabling Resource Centre for Persons with Disabilities.

Le Programme des mesures positives d'équité en emploi (PMPÉE) est un programme d'équité en emploi du Conseil du Trésor qui offre une aide additionnelle, notamment les outils, les services et le financement requis pour que les ministères et organismes puissent atteindre leurs buts et objectifs d'équité en emploi. Le PMPÉE remplace le Programme des initiatives de mesures spéciales (PIMS). Le programme, approuvé le 8 octobre dernier par les ministres du Conseil du Trésor, est étalé sur quatre exercices financiers et sera en vigueur d'octobre 1998 au 31 mars 2002. Les quatre grandes composantes du programme sont le Fonds d'intervention-ÉE, le Fonds du partenariat-ÉE, le Bureau des services d'orientation de carrières-ÉE et le Centre de ressources adaptées pour les personnes handicapées-ÉE.
