Danish open face sandwiches - smørrebrød Danish sandwiches are eaten every day at lunch by most danes, who bring them in a lunch bag. They are eaten cold, making microwaves unnecessary in lunch rooms.

Arrivée tonique à Aarhus. Hanne nous accueille du haut de son double mètre blond et souriant. Nous traversons une partie de la ville à pied, le temps est agréable et l'anglais revient sans trop de difficultés (rien à voir avec l'anglais irréprochable des Danois). On pose ses valises au «sleep in». On avale un «smörrebrod» (sandwich danois), et on file à la plage pour un bain réparateur.
