The Structures and Materials Performance Laboratory (SMPL) is one of five laboratories at the NRC Institute for Aerospace Research (NRC Aerospace), located in Ottawa, Canada. The laboratory conducts research on issues affecting the design, strength, durability, structural integrity and performance of new and legacy aircraft structures and components. It also develops new design, analysis, and manufacturing technologies for structures and materials, as well as for noise and vibration control.

Le Laboratoire de la performance des structures et des matériaux est l'un des cinq laboratoires de l'Institut de recherche aérospatiale du CNRC (CNRC Aérospatiale), situés à Ottawa (Canada). Le Laboratoire effectue de la recherche dans les domaines touchant la conception, la résistance, la durabilité, l'intégrité structurale et les performances des structures et composants d'aéronef nouveaux et existants.
