Granulomètre à ultrasons. Dans cet appareil, on mesure l'absorption des ultrasons dans une suspension. L'échantillon, prélevé sur le circuit véhiculant la matière à analyser, passe dans le granulomètre. Celui-ci est constitué d'un système de dégazage de la suspension des particules dans l'eau, système suivi d'une cellule de mesure qui comprend deux émetteurs d'ultrasons et deux récepteurs. Après traitement, les signaux issus des récepteurs fournissent la granulométrie et le pourcentage en solide de la suspension.
