[In 2010], SAGA is founded – the Southern Alberta Gliding Association – under the ASC [Alberta Soaring Council]. [They] have non-profit status and are dedicated to promoting the sport of soaring in southern Alberta. [They] believe strongly in community and family values and teamwork while educating and encouraging participation from people of all ages and walks of life regardless of experience level. [Their] mandate is to offer mentorship, training, facilities and equipment to anyone with the desire to fly.
