Founded in 1945, the Tuberculosis and Chest Disabled Veterans Association (TB Vets) was created to assist returning Second World War Veterans with meaningful employment and to raise funds for the treatment of tuberculosis and other respiratory illnesses as a result of their military service.

Mission: Operates a key return service, with proceeds and donations going to respiratory disease research, treatments and education; annually sends out over 350,000 key tags to BC [British Columbia] residents.
