Couplage torsion/traînée. Ce type de couplage peut se rencontrer de manière isolée ou en aggravation du couplage [battement/traînée]. Lorsqu’une pale est soumise à des efforts aérodynamiques, elle se déforme en battement et en traînée. S’il n’y a pas de concordance entre l’axe élastique de la pale et l’axe aérodynamique, il y a apparition de moments de torsion. Dans certains cas, la combinaison de ces moments peut entraîner une augmentation de l’incidence et donc une divergence du phénomène.
