A small local organization founded in 1940.

OBS

The society offers Japanese classes through the heritage and language school. Annual special events include the Christmas Concert for Children, Autumn Bazaar, the Bon Odori and the Keirokai or Seniors' Dinner to honour elders in the Japanese-Canadian Community.

The VJCS is a member of the National Association of Japanese Canadians.
