Le cas le plus courant est la pollinisation croisée : le pollen doit alors être transporté par le vent, l'eau ou les insectes : la pollinisation est dite anémophile, hydrophile ou entomophile.

OBS

Types de pollinisation : La pollinisation se fait par le transport du pollen depuis les étamines au stigmate. Ce transport peut être effectué par différents vecteurs ou transporteurs : le vent (pollinisation anémophíle), l'eau (hydrophile), les animaux (zoophile) dont : les mollusques (malacophile), les oiseaux (ornithophile), les insectes (entomophile).
