Vertical rapid alignment. The purpose of the vertical rapid align loop is to align the VG [vertical gyro] spin axis parallel to the local vertical and to align the sensitive axis of the liquid levels perpendicular to the local vertical within 1 degree of arc in less than 60 seconds of time at a temperature of 25° C.
