L'emballage-pression est constitué d'un boîtier étroit à l'intérieur duquel est disposé un sachet plastique fixé du côté supérieur à la base et de l'autre côté un élément rotatif à la base du boîtier. En tournant celle-ci on provoque la torsion de la poche plastique et l'expulsion du contenu à travers la base (Emballage-Digest, no 201, mai 1977, p. 89).
