El margen de frecuencia desde los 920 Hz hasta los 1080 Hz se llama margen de captura de frecuencia, conocido en la jerga electrónica como Frequency Capture Range; y el margen desde los 900 Hz hasta los 1100 Hz se llama margen de enganche de frecuencia o Frequency Lock Range. Hay que tener en cuenta que el margen de captura siempre es menor que el de enganche.
