Played on a colourful hand-painted world map the size of a basketball court, the Global Change Game is a fast-paced, challenging learning activity which channels participants' energy and creativity into exploring the major global problems of our time. The Global Change Game is a world issues simulation game which teaches about international development, international relations, global environmental issues, and the links between environment, society, and economy. Each participant becomes one hundred million people determining the future of their region of the world through social, economic and environmental decision-making and interactions with other regions. While minutes tick by for the players, years pass in the Game as it travels several decades into the future.
