In addition to my role as chair of the federal task force, the other job I hold is working with the provinces. What we're doing is creating a piece of model legislation. It's called the Model Food Act at this point. We hope to have it on the Ministers of Agriculture agenda in July, when they meet.

En plus de mon rôle de président du groupe de travail fédéral, je travaille avec les provinces. Nous sommes en train de mettre au point une loi modèle. Pour l'instant nous l'appelons la Loi modèle sur les aliments. Nous espérons qu'elle sera à l'ordre du jour de la réunion des ministres de l'Agriculture du mois de juillet prochain (1998).
