Terminology generally agreed for use in relation to enzymes. The Commission on Enzymes of the International Union of Biochemistry have recommended various conventions for use in enzyme kinetics. The symbols v, V, Km, KS and Ki are used for observed reaction velocity, maximum reaction velocity (with enzyme saturated with substrate), Michaelis constant, substrate constant and inhibitor constant, respectively. 1, record 1, English, - enzyme%20commission%20nomenclature

3, record 1, French, - nomenclature%20des%20enzymes
