Dalles posées à la suite sur une pelouse et sur un rang. Chaque dalle est distante d'un pas humain de la suivante afin de permettre une circulation aisée à travers le gazon.

Le pas japonais. D'axe en axe, les dalles sont espacées de 55 à 65 cm, c'est-à-dire de la longueur d'un pas moyen. La forme sablée peut être moins épaisse, 3 à 8 cm, le gazon assurant un blocage efficace. Si la pose s'effectue après l'engazonnement, (...) préalablement, découpons dans la pelouse la forme de la dalle.
