La presse tunnel Alfa-Laval consiste en une table de pressage et un tunnel. La table de pressage supporte les moules pleins. Elle est positionnée sous le tunnel de pressage puis soulevée par des vérins pneumatiques mettant ainsi les moules en contact avec des pistons actionnés par air comprimé. Il existe une autre version de la presse tunnel avec bandes de transport automatique alimentant le tunnel.
