Health Canada. The Drugs Programme and the Medical Devices Programme were merged late in 1996, with the result that the Medical Devices Bureau joined the Drugs Directorate. Since then, they've been using "Drugs and Medical Devices Directorate" or "Drugs and Medical Devices Programme", as their name. As of May 1, 1997, their new name is "Therapeutic Products Directorate," and "Therapeutic Products Programme".

Santé Canada. Le Programme des médicaments et le Programme des matériels médicaux ont été fusionnés vers la fin de 1996, ce qui a eu pour effet de faire passer le Bureau des matériels médicaux à la Direction des médicaments.
