The program is administered by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada but led by industry. Organizations that want to sponsor internships must submit project proposals to AAFC, recruit graduates and share the cost of each project. The program will help create some 80 agri-science and veterinary internships for graduates across the country. Each internship may last up to 12 months. There is no minimum duration, but internships must last long enough to provide meaningful experience to the participant. Le programme est administré par Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada mais est dirigé par l'industrie. Les organismes qui veulent parrainer un stage doivent présenter des propositions à AAC, recruter des diplômés et partager le coût de chaque projet. Le programme aidera à créer environ 80 stages en sciences agroalimentaires et en médecine vétérinaire pour des diplômés dans l'ensemble du pays. Chaque stage peut s'échelonner jusqu'à 12 mois. Il n'y a pas de durée minimum mais les stages devraient être suffisamment long pour permettre au participant d'acquérir une expérience valable.
