C'est en s'appuyant sur ce principe que la firme suédoise d'armements Bofors a conçu un «renifleur» d'explosifs qui devrait être commercialisé en 1999. Sa partie active, un récepteur biosensoriel, est à base d'anticorps qui réagissent à la présence des composants chimiques des matières explosives. [...] [Ce renifleur] serait dix mille fois plus sensible qu'un matériel de détection classique.

OBS

Il s'agit d'un appareil capable de repérer tout explosif, ou trace d'explosif, par simple analyse chromatographique de l'air ambiant.
