[...] Chapeau : 3-8 cm, convexe devenant plutôt étalé et mamelonné, avec marge enroulée; blanchâtre; visqueux si humide, avec de nombreuses écailles jaunes, minuscules et cotonneuses, surtout à la marge. Lamelles : blanches aux arêtes jaunes décurrentes, modérément larges, cireuses et distantes. Se reconnaît facilement à ses écailles jaunes.
