The flag generally designated by the name of the fleurdelisé flag, namely a flag bearing a white cross on a sky-blue ground and with the fleur-de-lis, but modified so that the fleur-de-lis are in a vertical position, is, and has been since the 21st of January 1948, the official flag of the Province of Québec.
