Le résultat en trésorerie correspond également au résultat net établi selon la méthode de la comptabilité de caisse, mesuré par la différence entre les encaissements et les décaissements se rapportant aux activités d'exploitation de l'entité pendant la période. Le résultat en trésorerie correspond en gros au chiffre des flux de trésorerie d'exploitation présenté dans l'état des flux de trésorerie.
