Institute for Citizen-Centred Service. The Common Measurements Tool (CMT) was first released in 1998 as an easy-to-use client satisfaction survey instrument that would facilitate benchmarking across jurisdictions. Using the CMT, public-sector managers are able to understand client expectations, assess levels of satisfaction, and identify priorities for improvement. By using the questions set out in the CMT, jurisdictions can also compare their results against peer organizations, identifying best practices and sharing lessons learned.

L'Institut des services axés sur les citoyens. L'outil de mesures communes (OMC) a d'abord été diffusé en 1998 en tant qu'instrument de sondage auprès de la clientèle facile à utiliser et susceptible de rendre plus aisée l'analyse comparative entre diverses administrations. Grâce à l'OMC, les gestionnaires du secteur public sont en mesure de comprendre les attentes de la clientèle, d'évaluer les niveaux de satisfaction et d'établir les priorités, afin d'apporter des améliorations. En utilisant les questions énoncées dans l'OMC, les administrations peuvent également comparer leurs résultats à ceux obtenus par des organisations de même nature, relever les pratiques exemplaires et partager les leçons retenues.
