Canadian Rural Partnership, Pilot Projects 2000-2001. Prince Edward Island. Federal Partner: Fisheries and Oceans Canada. A social/economical study will be done to determine the impact that the "Basin Head Marine Protected Area" project will have on the small rural community of Basin Head. The project will be the first marine protected area on Prince Edward Island and among the first in Canada.
