  • Diamond Industry
DEF

A GIA (Gemological Institute of America) colour that corresponds to the tinted white (K and L) of HRD-IDC (Hoge Raad voor Diamant-International Diamond Council).

CONT

Faint yellow (also called top silver). Diamonds with a tint of yellow are fairly common. Consequently, they are less expensive than colorless diamonds and often used in discount jewelry. This does not mean they are inferior.

OBS

top silver; top silver cape: Obsolete terms.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Gemmologie
  • Industrie diamantaire
DEF
