Aspect très particulier que l'on observe sur un cliché de face exclusivement au niveau de la dernière vertèbre lombaire. Il ne correspond pas à une déformation anatomique, mais tient au fait que le corps de L5 est vu par sa face supérieure en raison soit d'un trouble statique (forte ensellure lombaire, sacrum basculé), soit d'un spondylolisthésis.
