Interrupteur de manque d'eau. - Chaque chaudière doit être équipée d'un dispositif de manque d'eau dont le rôle est de couper immédiatement le brûleur s'il en était ainsi. Ce dispositif déclenche souvent simultanément un signal acoustique ou optique. L'effet de coupure résulte de l'action d'un aimant permanent séparé par une mince cloison amagnétique d'un second aimant qui actionne le levier du dispositif interrupteur.

OBS

Ce dispositif est imposé par le DTU 65.11 «Dispositifs de sécurité des installations de chauffage central concernant le bâtiment».
