The National General Status Working Group is composed of representatives from each of the Canadian provinces and territories and of the three federal agencies whose mandate includes wildlife (Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment and Climate Change Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Parks Canada). Members of the working group are responsible for completing the assessments of species in their respective jurisdictions.
