DEF

A bill of lading which covers shipment on more than one vessel or more than one type of transport.

OBS

This document of title is legally valid provided it acknowledges receipt of the goods on board of the first carrier with an undertaking that carriage will be made to their final destination and that one carrier, usually a maritime carrier, is responsible for the whole transport through successive carriers.

DEF
