The Northern Development Fund (NDF) is a significant funding tool to promote economic development and planning in the North. The Fund has four components: Commercial loans to northern businesses; Loans to primary producers (fishing, trapping, wild rice harvesting); Grants for marketing, research, business training and youth entrepreneurship; Funding for Regional Development Corporations (RDCs).
