To deliver a rock in such a way that it comes to lay in the house, close to the tee line; to position, in the house, close to the tee line, a delivered rock that did not touch another rock along the way nor have put out an opponent's rock before coming to rest.

OBS

To "draw" means "to score a point" only if the delivered rock stays in the house until all rocks are delivered in the end; to "shoot" is rather a familiar term for "to throw a rock" than a synonym of "to draw.".

OBS

Distinguish from the other meanings of "draw" and do not use as a synonym of the verb "to deliver," all delivered rocks not necessarily reaching the house.

«Exécuter un placement» ne peut avoir comme synonymes «faire un point», «avoir le point» ou «pointer», que si la pierre ainsi placée dans la maison y demeure jusqu'à la fin de la manche. Ces termes, qui expriment plutôt une conséquence du lancer, n'ont cours qu'en Europe. En outre, il y a lieu de distinguer entre «tirer vers le bouton» ou «tirer vers le centre», qui, au Canada, n'ont que le sens de «lancer une pierre avec l'intention de la placer dans la maison», et le fait de réussir un tel lancer, soit «placer sa pierre en position de compter» ou «exécuter, réussir un placement».

Ne pas confondre «exécuter un placement» ou «réussir un placement» avec le générique «lancer une pierre», tout lancer de pierre ne réussissant pas nécessairement à placer cette dernière dans la maison.
