The Justices of the Peace Review Council is a Council established by the Province of Ontario under the Justices of the Peace Act. The Review Council has a mandate to review proposed appointments to the justice of the peace bench and to receive and investigate complaints against justices of the peace. The Review Council is made up of judges, a justice of the peace and community representatives. The Review Council does not have the power to interfere with or change a decision made by a justice of the peace. Le Conseil d'évaluation des juges de paix est un conseil établi par la province de l'Ontario, sous le régime de la Loi sur les juges de paix. Il a pour mandat d'examiner les candidatures aux postes de juge de paix, de recevoir les plaintes portées contre les juges de paix et de faire enquête à leur sujet. Le Conseil d'évaluation se compose de juges, d'un juge de paix et de représentants de la collectivité. Il ne dispose pas du pouvoir d'intervenir dans une décision ou de modifier une décision prise par un juge de paix.
