Gold options are traded o three exchanges. The European Options Exchange in Amsterdam inaugurated trading in April, 1981; The Montreal Exchange began trading in February, 1982; and the start-up of trading on the Vancouver Stock Exchange in July, 1982 represents a further extension of the gold options market network. The gold options traded at these three exchanges are exactly the same.
