The flap position indicator shows the current position of the flaps. The flaps do not automatically move to pre-defined positions, but are commanded up or down by the pilot. When the flaps reach the desired position, the switch is released. 3, record 1, English, - flap%20position%20indicator

Les volets sont commandés par une manette se déplaçant devant un secteur cranté, les positions sont : rentré, approche, décollage, atterrissage. La position est contrôlée par un répétiteur sur la planche de bord. Dans certains cas une timonerie relie les volets des côtés gauche et droit évitant ainsi toute sortie dissymétrique.
