Regroupant la France, la Norvège et le Canada, le projet ADFEX (Arctic Delta Failure Experiment) s'intéresse à la réalisation, grandeur nature, d'un glissement sous-marin. Pour y arriver, un delta est déstabilisé à l'aide d'explosifs afin de provoquer une liquéfaction instantanée du front du delta.
