An adenovirus in captive or freeliving bolrwhite quail causing quail bronchitis.

OBS

Quail bronchitis is ... manifested by coughing, sneezing, lacrimation and conjunctivitis but usually without nasal discharge. Morbidity is usually 100% in young birds where the mortality may also be high.

VIRUS ORPHELINS : virus découverts dans des cultures de tissus de différentes espèces animales, où ils provoquent les effets cytopathogènes caractéristiques des virus, mais qui ne correspondent à aucun virus pathogène connu. On leur attribue un potentiel pathogène latent et on pense qu'ils sont capables de réveil de virulence.
