Opposition parties discovered Tuesday that the 211-page omnibus bill that has caused so much controversy in the legislature includes a proposed change giving the health minister unilateral power to decide what is medically necessary. Anything that is not considered necessary would be delisted–not paid for by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).

ley ómnibus: La Fundación del Español Urgente (Fundéu BBVA), con el asesoramiento de la Real Academia Española, explica que el sustantivo "ómnibus" es una palabra esdrújula y permanece invariable en plural, incluso en colocaciones como "ley ómnibus", "reglamento ómnibus", "programa ómnibus", "encuesta ómnibus"…, donde "ómnibus" aparece en aposición aportando el sentido de "que afecta a distintos temas o incluye bloques de contenidos diferentes".
