[The] Director, Performance Management and Monitoring [is] accountable for: developing and implementing research priorities and plans and managing the conduct of major HR [human resources] research projects through multi-disciplinary Project Teams; ensuring the viability and adequacy of research findings to serve as a base for policy and program design and development; directing the conduct of pilot projects for new HR business processes and practices; directing the development of service standards and service level agreements; creating the Branch's performance measurement, monitoring and evaluation function; formulating scenarios and discussion papers for review by Branch managers, the ADM [assistant deputy minister], HR, the Priority Management Board, DM [deputy minister] and Environment Management Council (EMC); contributing to the federal government's capacity in HR Management and leading, or participating in, joint ventures with OGD [other government department]s and central and external agencies; conducting environmental scans and demographic analyses to forecast HR needs in EC [Environment Canada] and develop strategic options; and developing innovative HR approaches and practices to enhance the outreach of the small HR Community.  1, fiche 1, Anglais, - director%2C%20Performance%20Management%20and%20Monitoring
