Understanding My TERMIUM

Preferences Set Up

Set the cursor to the Search Field

To position the cursor directly in the Search Field when the page is loaded and have your term highlighted following your search.

  • 1024 x 768 is the minimum screen resolution required for the full-screen display option.
  • Should you encounter any technical difficulties using the full-screen display option, please revert your settings to the default 800 x 600 screen resolution.

Select the order of the display of languages

Select the order of display of the official languages of Canada (English and French)
and include the display of one of the non-official languages (Spanish or Portuguese)

Select RESULTS BY SUBJECT FIELD

CLICK on a subject field in the RESULTS BY SUBJECT FIELD list rather
than using the arrow button to see the corresponding records.

Understanding My TERMIUM

Customizing My TERMIUM is simple. In just a few minutes you can create the interface you prefer.

This page will let you build your own interface to access TERMIUM Plus®. My TERMIUM lets you customize the interface to suit your needs. Access to all customizing features is available through this page.

Cookies will be used to save your settings when you customize your interface. Ensure that the "cookies" setting is enabled in your browser, so that the next time you visit TERMIUM Plus® you can bypass this page and go directly to the application.

Also, you must have enabled JavaScript to have access to certain functionalities.

After you have made your selection to build your interface, click the [Save Settings] button to save all your information. The next time you sign in, your customized interface will be displayed.

You can modify My TERMIUM anytime just by coming back to this page and changing any of the options available to you.
