Without a preposition, endow refers to the provision of continuing funding for a project or an institution.

  • The senator endows many professorships at this university.

Endow with signifies the granting of a talent or positive attribute, and endowed with thus indicates the possession of such a quality.

  • Nature has endowed British Columbia with breathtaking scenery.
  • The Sunshine Coast is endowed with a warm climate.
  • Although not endowed with a good ear, I do love to sing.
