Concept of Staging. The ratio of the final product concentration to that of natural water is approximately 7,00 and it is practically, if not theoretically impossible to effect the required separation in one step and in one large piece of equipment. Therefore, the separation is accomplished in a series of steps called stages. A stage is one or a group of parallel-connected separating steps, fed with material of the same composition and producing partially separated product streams of the same composition. 1, record 1, English, - concept%20of%20staging

1, record 1, French, - distillation%20%C3%A9tag%C3%A9e
