What is biochemistry? Biochemistry explores chemical processes related to living organisms. It is a laboratory-based science combining biology and chemistry. Biochemists study the structure, composition, and chemical reactions of substances in living systems and, in turn, their functions and ways to control them. Biochemistry emerged as a separate discipline when scientists combined biology with organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. They began to study areas such as : how living things get energy from food; the chemical basis of heredity; what fundamental changes occur in disease. 2, record 1, English, - biochemist

Fish hatchery managers use their knowledge of fish biology, ecology, chemistry, and aquaculture technology to raise fish and shellfish in a wide range of settings. For instance, they may stock and manage fish in ponds, raceways, commercial net pens, and recirculation systems for the purpose of food or recreational fishing. In addition, managers employ administrative skills to manage a hatchery's business activities, such as ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, keeping financial records, and overseeing workers. 1, record 2, English, - fish%20hatchery%20manager
