OBS

Video produced in 1994 by Sneyd Syndicate Inc., Orillia, Ontario. This touching drama describes how a little boy is affected by witnessing his father beating his mother. Seven-year-old Jonathan is having trouble at school. He has a quick temper, a short attention span and he is reluctant to tell anyone what's troubling him. A black-eyed Susan in a bouquet of flowers reminds him of his mother's black eye and his father's violence, so Jonathan refuses to go home. When his mother comes to pick him up, the abuse is revealed, and Jonathan's family gets the help they need. The aim of this film is to show children in similar situations that there are things they can do to help themselves.
