Rmax Durasheath [TM] is a rigid foam plastic thermal insulation board composed of polyisocyanurate foam bonded to specially coated glass fiber facers on each side... Durasheath is laid over a suitable roof deck such as tongue-and-groove timber, plywood, or metal deck and covered with a suitable layer of plywood. An asphalt or wood shingle, concrete or clay tile, or standing seam metal roof may be installed over the insulated roof deck according to the roofing system instructions.

Wood shingles, as a rule, are easier to repair than clapboard. You can usually fix those that have split or warped by simply nailing them down with aluminum or galvanized nails. If the shingle is on the exposed side of the house... cut a piece of roofing paper approximately the size of the shingle and slip it underneath the shingle before nailing it down.

The Bureau's responsibilities range from code development, marketing and education of roofing and siding products. Mission Statement : We are in the business of promoting the common interest of our members involved in the wood shingle and shake roofing and sidewall business.
