The formation of a fibrin clot is the body's first step in natural wound repair. Following any vascular insult, a coagulation cascade occurs resulting in a cross-linked fibrin matrix, which entraps platelets and other blood components to create a stable hemostatic plug. This meshwork serves as the substrate upon which endogenous cells transmigrate and intrinsically regenerate the lesion. 2, record 1, English, - fibrin%20clot

Fibrin glues(also known as fibrin sealants) are widely used in surgery mainly as adjuncts to achieve hemostasis but also as surgical sealants, surgical glues, and as promoters of wound healing. They are based on two blood plasma-derived proteins, fibrinogen and thrombin. During surgical application of fibrin glue, a solution containing the fibrinogen component is mixed with a solution containing the thrombin component. At the site of application, thrombin catalyzes the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin finally resulting in the formation of a tissue adhering hydrogel, the fibrin clot. 4, record 2, English, - fibrin%20glue

Plasticosis is a type of fibrotic disease. These conditions are caused by excessive amounts of scarring when an area of the body is repeatedly inflamed and prevents the wound from healing normally. Generally, temporary scar tissue forms after an injury and helps to strengthen the repair. But when inflammation happens again and again, excessive amounts of scar tissue can form which reduces the flexibility of the tissues and causes their structure to change. In the case of plasticosis, the irritation is caused by shards of plastic digging into the stomach tissue. 2, record 19, English, - plasticosis

2, record 19, French, - plasticose

[Electromagnetic method] developed in Sweden and... popular in North America since about 1958.... Both transmitter and receiver are moved, a fixed spacing of 100-300 ft between them maintained by a cable. The transmitter is low power(1-10 watts) and the transmitter coil is about the same size as the receiver. In some sets the coils are wound on insulating frames 2-3 ft in diameter, in other ferrite-coils are employed. The coils are coplanar and almost always oriented to detect the vertical component, although this is not a necessary requirement. 1, record 100, English, - moving%2Dsource%20method
